چکیده
A scalar field ? endowed with a trigonometric potential has been proposed to play the role of Dark Matter. deep study cosmological evolution linear perturbations, and its comparison Cold Matter (CDM) Fuzzy (FDM) cases (scalar quadratic potential), reveals an enhancement in amplitude mass power spectrum for large wave numbers due non-linearity axion-like potential. For first time, we scale-dependence on physical quantities such as growth factor Dk, velocity fk, fk ?8. We found that z<10, all these recover CDM evolution, whereas high redshift there is clear distinction between each model (FDM case, potential) depending wavenumber k decay parameter well. semi-analytical Halo Mass Function also revisited, finding suppression number low halos, FDM but small increment variance halo function Finally, present constraints axion by using data Planck Collaboration 2018 Lyman-? forest.

Mass Generation for an Ultralight Axion
If a global chiral symmetry is explicitly broken by anomalies in nonabelian gauge theories, a pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson (axion) associated with a spontaneous breakdown of such a global symmetry acquires a mass through nonperturbative instanton effects. We calculate the axion mass assuming a supersymmetric SU(2) gauge theory and show that the axion obtains an extremely small mass when the SU(...

We explore the cosmological implications of an ultra-light pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson. With global spontaneous symmetry breaking scale f ' 10 18 GeV and explicit breaking scale comparable to MSW neutrino masses, M 10 3 eV, such a eld, which acquires a mass m M 2 =f H 0 , would have become dynamical at recent epochs and currently dominate the energy density of the universe. The eld acts as an ...
متن کاملEvading Astrophysical Constraints on Axion-Like Particles
Stellar energy loss arguments lead to strong constraints on the coupling φγγ of a light axion-like particle to two photons. Helioscopes, like CAST, are able to put competitive bounds. The PVLAS experiment has recently observed a rotation of the polarization of a laser propagating in a magnetic field that can be interpreted as the effect of a quite strong φγγ coupling. We present scenarios where...
متن کاملAxion string constraints.
We study the production of cosmological axions in the standard scenario in which a global string network forms at the Peccei-Quinn phase transition. We make detailed calculations of the axions produced by string loops, comparing these with estimates of other contributions from long strings and domain walls. We delineate key uncertainties in string network evolution, the chief of which is the ma...
متن کاملOptimization with the time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations as constraints
In this paper, optimal distributed control of the time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations is considered. The control problem involves the minimization of a measure of the distance between the velocity field and a given target velocity field. A mixed numerical method involving a quasi-Newton algorithm, a novel calculation of the gradients and an inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes solver, to find the opt...
